David Alcalde

Barcelona-born David Alcalde is an acclaimed director and visual storyteller with a career spanning music videos, commercials, and film. Starting as a co-founder of DDT Special Effects in 1991, David’s expertise in special effects contributed to over 150 productions, culminating in an Oscar win for Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth. David transitioned to directing in 1995, crafting music videos and simultaneously, he began helming commercials, working with brands like Coca-Cola, Sony PlayStation, Ferrari, and Santander Bank.
