Katie Bell

London based Katie Bell is a visual director with a talent for getting naturalistic, genuine performances from both children and adults, as well as making the world look beautiful. Katie’s interest in directing first came when she worked at MTV Europe designing idents and on-screen graphics. She then moved to post-production, combining live action special effects with designing title sequences. Her titles for John Paul Gaultier’s Eurotrash led to her being asked to direct her first music video. Many music videos followed, cementing her love of performance and cinematography (and an ability for working quickly) for artists such as The Bee Gees, Boyzone, Girls Aloud, and Myleene Klass, to name a few (shooting in studios and on location all over the world). Her experience in design, SFX, and music has proved a useful visual background that has developed into a realistic style. Just some of the brands she has shot for include KLM, Capital Radio, Dove, Danone, Persil, Ribena, Kraft, Royal Bank of Scotland, Nestle, Pampers, Danone, Chicco, Kinder, Eurostar, Kraft, Muller, and Minute-Maid. Katie is a collaborative director with vast experience filming with kids, she brings a strong visual aesthetic, total commitment and a tremendous work ethic to every project.
